Actually it's a building across campus which is having electrical work done, yet somehow the power glitches spill over into our building and trip all the switches ... even though "that isn't supposed to happen" according to Facilities & Estates!

I am a convert to isopropanol (alright, propan-2-ol) replacing methanol in Western blot transfer buffers. It works great but carries none of the environmental or toxicity problems. It also smells much better! Two enthusiastic thumbs-up 👍 👍
